Lesson #21 Breeding, Raising Backyard Chicken Hens Hatch Eggs Better Than Electric Incubators

While I use a lot of incubators in our production of “Manok Pinoy” in the farm, I still believe that hens are better hatchers than Electric Incubators.
Nothing beats Mother Nature because Incubator operations could be disrupted by electric power interruptions while hens will give the eggs the ideal heat for the eggs to hatch.
A little fluctuation in the heat or a malfunction of the thermometer in the incubators n could lead to the spoilage of the eggs being hatched.
The body temperature of the hen, on the other hand, is just perfect to keep the chicks warm, especially during cold nights.
So, if you have a small flock of about 10 to 20 hens, it is better to rely on Mother Nature and let the hens do the job.
They are more reliable than electric incubators!
