Guidebook On Breeding, Raising Backyard Chicken
After decades of breeding and raising chicken, I have decided to write a book hoping that other farmers could learn from my experiences.
It will be an easy-reading book and while I will write in English, I will use very simple words which could be easily understood.
It will contain my experiences as a chicken breeder, the failures, successes, heartaches and joyful moments over the last 23 years
Mostly, it will tell the story of how I was able to breed and develop a strain of free-range backyard chicken called “Manok Pinoy.”
I decided to write this book because I noticed the great interest of the followers of my Facebook page on items I post about backyard chicken raising.
I have asked my longtime friend and former staff, John Pagaduan, to design the book cover.
It was also John who designed the cover of my first book, Feeding Millions, a blueprint on Food Security, which was published in 2015.
The book “Breeding, Raising Backyard Chicken” will be available before the end of the year.
