Final Day!

Cauayan Bamboo Show & Summit Ends Today
Today is the final day of the Cauayan, Negros Occidental Bamboo Show and Summit with Gov. Bong Lacson delivering the keynote address.
Cong. Mercedes Alvarez (6th District) will also be present during the opening ceremonies of the final day activity.
Cauayan Mayor John Ray Tabujara will present the resource speakers to include:
– Former Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol who leads the Bamboo Champions Advocacy Group;
– Myrna Decipulo, acknowledged Mother of the Giant Bamboo Program;
– Robert Palomares, top Bamboo Artisan of Mindanao;
– Nicky Dumapit, maker of Bamboo Musical Instruments;
– Representative of the Dept. of Environment & Natural Resources.
The Summit opens 8:30 a.m. at the Cauayan Municipal Gymnasium.
