One of the major livelihood activities which I intend to introduce in North Cotabato is Free-Range Chicken Farming.
I personally developed a new strain of Dual-Purpose Chicken which performs well in the Free Range and produces more eggs than the native breed.
There will be innovations in the Chicken Farming Program based on the failures in the past.
Young Veterinarians and Veterinary Technology graduates will be engaged in this program to supervise Chicken Farmers.
Excess production from the farms will be bought back, dressed and delivered to supermarkets which had long been looking for sustainable supply of Free Range Chicken.
When we develop a huge Free Range Chicken Industry, our grains farmers will also benefit because it will create a huge demand for feed-making materials.
