2nd Harvest Of ‘Saging Tindok!’
This morning, I made the second harvest of our “Saging Tindok” (sn: Musa pardiasiaca var: magna), the biggest Banana in the Philippines.
Also known as the “Cooking Banana,” Saging Tindok is ideal for Banana chips production because of its round and large fingers.
Local tissue culture lab owner Jay Mearns actually got corm of the Tindok from me last year but has so far failed to produce meriplants.
So, what I will do is just dig up the remaining suckers and plant these in the periphery of my farm to perpetuate this Banana variety.
