Three days after we sowed Alfalfa seeds in an experimental plot inside the Dole Philippines pineapple plantation, they have started to sprout.
Ang bilis ng germination and this is an encouraging indicator that this valuable and highly leguminous plant which is fed to big and small ruminants, including rabbits as hay or pelletized feeds could grow in the Southern Philippines.
