Sorghum experts from Hereford, Texas have arrived in the country to support our efforts to boost the production of Sorghum in the Philippines.
Led by brothers Coby and Chad Kriegshauser who jointly own the Scott Seed Company of Texas, the team also includes Sorghum breeder Chuck Cielencki and Coby’s son, Barry.
The experts will join former Senator Panfilo Lacson in launching the Sorghum Farming Partnership between SAAV Inc. and the Dolefil Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries in Polomolok, South Cotabato today.
They will also check on the performance of the different Sorghum varieties grown in Mindanao.
