DRAW HUGE CROWD IN TIENDA
The second weekly staging of the TienDA Farmers and Fishermen’s Outlet drew an even bigger crowd compared to last week.
The TienDA in the Bureau of Plant Industry compound in San Andres, Manila was more orderly with security guards manning the lanes for buyers.
Another venue was added this week – the Department of Agriculture compound in Elliptical Circle in Quezon City.
Just like last week, Vegetables fruits, fish and rice were sold at farm gate prices.
The TienDA will continue tomorrow, Saturday in two venues – BPI San Andres, Manila and DA Central Office in Quezon City.
Next week, the TienDA will be held in at least three locations before the first TienDA Malasakit Stores are opened in Taguig City on Oct. 13.
