The equipment and farm inputs are part of the interventions of the DA for the rehabilitation of agriculture in Marawi and its surrounding areas following Marawi Siege by terrorist groups in May 2017.
DA Secretary Manny Piñol and Region X Director Carlene Collado turned over the intervens to MAFAR Minister Mohammad Yacob in simple ceremonies at the Regional Office of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) in Koronadal.
The equipment and farm machineries will be operated by a service provider group to be organized by BARMM MAFAR to ensure maximum utilization and better maintenance.
