Beauty Of Farm Life!
Early today, I discovered that one of the Oriental hens which I allowed to roam free in my farm, was sitting on a clutch of eggs that she laid in a box in the porch of my house.
Seeing how she protects her eggs gives me hope that three weeks from now, she will give me a brood of chicks hatched naturally.
For three weeks, she will bear hunger and inactivity just to make sure that the cycle of life continues.
This is the beauty of farm life, the hope and expectations which come out of a hen sitting on a cloth of eggs or a fruit tree starting to bear flowers and soon fruits.
This is a lesson which we all should realize, that in life there are moments when we have to bear pain and hardships just to make sure that the future is brighter for those who will come after us.
