Canadian Soybeans In Kidapawan Trial Farm!

Today, Sept. 22, the birthday of my second daughter, Dr. Josa Bernadette who we fondly call JB, I sowed one kilo of Soybean seeds from Canada.
The seeds were given to me by a follower, Joel Quiaoit.
I planted the seeds after conducting a successful trial where 8 of 10 seeds planted actually germinated.
I also decided to plant this new variety of Soybeans on the birthday of my daughter to mark another significant moment in my life.
On her 9th birthday, this young doctor changed the course of my life when she asked me to quit smoking as her birthday gift.
It turned out to be a gift not for her but for me as it proved to be a turning point of my health.
So today, I planted this news Soybeans variety from a third country, the first two coming from India and the U.S., and I will dedicate this to Doc JB.
This is another significant moment because if these seeds would adapt well to Philippine conditions, it could contribute to the development of the country’s Soybeans Industry.
The new variety will hence be called “Josa Canada.”
Happy birthday, JB!
