Today I took one more step closer to the dream of earning a Doctorate Degree before I bow out of government service .
I succeeded in defending my dissertation outline before a 5-man Graduate School panel of the University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan, Cotabato today.
Before my dissertation outline defense, panel team leader Dr. Palasig Ampang informed me that I passed the Comprehensive Written Examination given by the University last month.
All members of the panel unanimously gave me an “Excellent” grade for my dissertation outline defense which lasted for over an hour.
My dissertation is on the “Impact of the Production Loan Easy Access (PLEA) on the Quality of Life of Small Farmers and Fisherfolk in the Philippines.”
The PLEA Loaning Program is one of the banner programs of the DA in increasing food production and addressing poverty in the Agriculture and Fisheries sector.
All that is needed to be accomplished would be the study whose results with be included in the dissertation which I will defend in March or early April.
If i succeed in defending it, I wll be able to join the USM Graduating Class of 2019 and earn a long cherished dream, the Doctorate Degree on Rural Development.
