Having bred enough, I am now ready to share this breed of chicken, reputed to possess medicinal value and often served as “Black Chicken Soup” with those who would like to breed them.
A young trio of the Chinese Silkie is sold for P3,000 if the fowls are picked up in the farm. Those from out of town will have to pay additional cost for the shipping box and the freight cost.
A breeding trio is composed of a cockerel and two pullets. They will be ready for breeding in two months.
