The COVID 19 restrictions will not stop us from sharing our Giant Bamboo Large Planting Materials.
Today, my old Isuzu Elf departs from my nursery in Kidapawan City for a 3-day journey to deliver 6,000 Giant Bamboo LPMs for Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga City.
The LPMs will be turned over to the Agriculture Officers of the said LGUs.
An extra 400 Giant Bamboos will go to a fisherman’s group led by Magsaysay Awardee Roberto Dodoy Ballon in Kabasalan town where I spent the night.
Next week, the deliveries will be for Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga del Norte.
All of these areas will also receive 100 seedlings of the Abuyog Sweet Jackfruit.
Both the Giant Bamboo LPMs and the Abuyog Sweet Jackfruit seedlings were propagated in my farm.
The distribution is part of my Green Philippines Advocacy and the planting materials are intended to be Mother Plants for expansion planting.
