Covenant With The People! Environmental Protection; Food Sufficiency, Security

In my run for the Senate, I commit to the Filipino people that the legislations which I would introduce would ensure the protection and preservation of the remaining forests of the country for sustainable water supply needed for food production.

I will work for the enactment of laws that would assure the next generation of enough supply of healthy food produced by happy farmers and fishermen living under one roof with their loved ones.

This covenant includes a commitment to lead an upright life open to scrutiny by the people I serve and to give way to others if and when I could not deliver what I had promised to the Filipino people.

My desire to serve is sincere and true but if I am not chosen by the people as one of those whom they would entrust the future of their children to, I would still remain committed to my advocacies as a Filipino who loves his country.
