In response to the call of the Mango Farmers in regard to the over supply of Mangoes in Luzon, the Department of Agriculture under the leadership of Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, Ph.D., once again came up with a marketing and promotion strategy to help our farmers market their produce thru #TienDAPlusMetrowideMangoFestival where LGUs of #Muntinlupa and #Paranaque together with #Waltermart North Edsa, Quezon City, Makati and Pasay will be participating.
Please join us on June 10-11, 2019 in the following sites to support our Agripreneurs and Mango Farmers from 8:00AM to 4:00PM:
-Department of Agriculture Central Office, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City;
-Bureau of Plant and Industry, Malate, Manila;
-Muntinlupa City Hall
-Paranaque City Hall
-Waltermart North Edsa, Quezon City from 9am-9pm;
-Waltermart Makati from 9am to 9pm and,
-Waltermart Pasay from 9am to 9pm.
Fresh highland and lowland vegetables, Coconut, Commerical rice worth P36/kg., and other agribased food products will also be made available in TienDA Plus Metrowide Mango Festival in Muntinlupa and Paranaque City Halls.
Chef Neneth Tiongkiao Madrona will hold a cooking demostration using mangoes as ingredients in the launching at the Department of Agriculture 7:00AM on June 10, 2019 with Mr. Robin Padilla as special guest.
