Coachella Valley Desert, Southern California – In preparation for the massive implementation of the Solar-Powered Irrigation Systems all over the country, we are looking for modern drilling technology to help us find sources of water.
Here in the middle of the desert in Desert Hot Springs in Coachella Valley in Southern California today, I met Tom Anderson and his stepson, Walter Marienschek drilling a well at 350 feet in just three days.
The Anderson family has been drilling wells all over the world for the last 61 years.
I have invited Walter to come to the Philippines to share with us their technology and expertise.
When the SPIS project is implemented in full swing, at least 3,000 wells will have to be drilled all over the country every year until the end of the term of President Rody Duterte.
By that time, we hope to irrigate an additional 1.5-million hectares of rice farms.
