Presidential frontrunner Rody Duterte’s advocacy to provide Filipino rice farmers with free irrigation services will be discussed in the weekly radio program “Adbokasiya” which airs every Sunday over DZRH nation-wide at 10 a.m.
Guests in this week’s “Adbokasiya” are M’lang, North Cotabato Mayor Joselito Piñol, who presented the problems of rice farmers with steady water supply to Duterte during his visit to the town last year.
The presentation of the irrigation problem of rice farmers to Duterte led to his announced advocacy to provide Filipino rice farmers with free irrigation water if he is elected President.
Also invited as resource person during the program is farmer leader Nathaniel Fabila, a certified seeds grower, who will also share the other concerns of rice farmers.
M’lang holds the distinction of having one of the highest yields per hectare at 7 tons while the national average is only 3.5 tons.
It is also the source of the supply of organic rice which is now being exported to Hong Kong and Europe.
“Adbokasiya” will also be heard over 21 DZRH satellite stations and over 100 Radyo Natin stations all over the country.
It will also be seen on RHTV and over 300 cable networks all over the country with an estimated 3-million subscribers.
The program could also be accessed through Live Streaming.
