Early Birds! COMMON PEOPLE QUEUE UP FOR BIGAS NG MASA TIENDA

DA Central Office 8 a.m. – Even before our Bigas ng Masa TienDA could open, people, some of them in slippers, have already queued up for a chance to buy rice at P38 per kilo.

Agribusiness and Marketing Undersecretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat sent me this touching and heart-rending photo of people lining up in front of our store on Elliptical Circle in Quezon City.

Also up for sale are vegetables and rice-corn blend, including dried fish.
