One of the best fertilization practices that we have adopted in our Sorghum and Soybeans farming is mixing Organic and Inorganic fertilizer.
For our basal fertilization, for example, we use two 50-kilo bags of Guano and Chicken Manure mixed with one bag each of 14-14-14 and 16-20-0 per hectare.
For our second application on the 15th to 20th day after emergence for Sorghum, we drench Chicken Manure Slurry mixed with 46-0-0 and Amosul.
For Soybeans, the Slurry is mixed with 21-0-0 and 14-14-14.
Then, on our last application on the 30th to 35th day, we mix the Organic Fertilizer with Amosul, 14-14-14 and 0-0-60.
On the 5th day after emergence and every 15 days thereafter, we spray our crops with the AMO Foliar Fertilizer using one packet per hectare.
Of course, the amount of fertilizer applied would depend on the actual nutritional deficiencies of the field which is determined in a soil analysis.
Mixing Organic with InOrganic Fertilizer has proven to be very effective in nourishing our plants.
More than that, this formula greatly reduced our expenses on fertilization.
