Rain fell on Polomolok and other towns of South Cotabato yesterday ending a 3-week dry spell giving relief to our young Sorghum crop.
Reports sent to me from the field by my brother, Bong, said the rains were heavy enough to allow our crew to start planting again.
The wet grounds will also bòost the growth of our newly planted Sorghum seeds.
While Sorghum could survive a long dry spell, its productivity would certainly be affected during prolonged rainless days.
The rains fell just in time.
God really knows when to let the rain come to protect our plants.
