Green Philippines! Giant Bamboo Ng Mindanao Meron Na Sa Aurora Province

Maria Aurora, Aurora – At least 600 Giant Bamboo propagules from Mindanao will now be planted in several areas in Aurora Province by farmer leaders who eagerly received yesterday their share of the famous bamboo variety.

I had a small group caucus with farmers in Aurora yesterday which was attended by the Provincial Agriculture and Fisheries Council and Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Council officers and members from the different towns.

Pati ang mga farmers mula sa Casiguran led by former MAFC president Hely Vicente at malayong bayan ng Dilasag na malapit na sa boundary ng Isabela ay nakabahagi ng semilya ng Giant Bamboo.

Soon, Aurora Governor Gerardo Noveras will have a new industry in his province which will involve the processing of Giant Bamboo for furniture and housing.
