Plants talk, or at least they communicate with us by showing us what they need through the color of their leaves.
When the leaves turn yellow, they are telling us that they lack nitrogen 👎 which usually comes in the form of the very volatile Urea fertilizer.
When the grains are full of chaffs, the plants are saying that they lack Phosphorous (P) and when they are not sweet or bland, they lack Potash (K).
How much of N-P-K you need to give your plants depends on your soil analysis but the most accurate way of doing it is through Leaf Tissue Analysis which is the plants’ most effective method of communicating with the farmer.
