Shortly before the Senatorial Elections of 2022, I decided to distribute Giant Bamboo planting materials to different groups, including local government units all over the country as part of my campaign strategy.
Since I did not have the funds to print tarpaulins, I thought that the Giant Bamboo Planting Materials would be a good option for people to remember me and my advocacy for Green Philippines.
I failed to make it to the Senate but I have no regrets. I offered myself to serve as the voice of the agriculture sector but I was not chosen.
There will be no second attempt for me. That was the last and final offer.
However, I am excited to know what happened to the Giant Bamboo Planting Materials which were distributed as part of my Green Philippines Advocacy.
Our nursery records show that we distributed about 700,000 Giant Bamboo planting materials in bags and I would like to know how many survived.
For those who succeeded in propagating them, I would appreciate it very much if you could share with me photos of your Giant Bamboos.
At least that would be the proof of what I said during the campaign: “Ang tarpaulin at mga placards susunugin at mabubulok pero ang Giant Bamboo ay tutubo, yayabong at mamamayagpag maski tapos na ang eleksyon.”
