Learning by doing! After Expensive Trials, We Set Up Model Farms

Discovering the correct planting protocols for relatively new crops does not come easy.
In fact, without an established planting and propagation guide, it could be expensive and frustrating.
Kaya nga ang kasabihan ay dapat mahaba ang lubid at pasensya kung magsasaka ka.
After going through a series of trials in planting Soybeans and Sorghum, I have learned enough to be able to establish model farms.
We have a 12-hectare Soybeans model farm in Barangay Luvimin, Kidapawan City and this morning, we prepared a 3-hectare area in Barangay Paco to serve as our Sorghum Model Farm.
The Sorghum Model Farm is located along the Cotabato-Davao National Highway and will be visible to passersby.
It is our way of introducing new crops which could contribute to lower cost of poultry, livestock and aqua feeds.
