Learning How To Plant Soybeans The Hard Way!

In the two years that I advocated the propagation of two very important agricultural commodities, Soybeans and Sorghum, I learned a lot of lessons which I must admit were very expensive.
Without established protocols on how to plant and propagate these two crops needed for feeds production for poultry, livestock and aquaculture, we went through very difficult trials.
I planted Soybeans and Sorghum in the highlands of Alamada and discovered at these plants grow better in the lowlands and midlands with full sunlight.
With the help of plant experts, I was able to discover what caused my young Soybeans to wilt and die, a fungal disease caused by pathogens which could be addressed by first applying fungicide in the rows to be planted.
Two years into this discovery program, I and the boys in the farm had already crafted the protocols for both Sorghum and Soybeans which we are now sharing with other farmers.
Somebody has to really lead the way and pay the price for learning by doing!
