Breeding & Raising Backyard Chicken
To ensure that there will be no inbreeding in your Free-Range Chicken Yard, practice Single-Mating in producing your breeding materials.
By doing this, you will be sure that your male line will not come from the same parents as your female line, or vice versa.
From the single mating, you could produce distinct families which you could cross-breed to maintain hybrid vigor.
