Meet The Young Farmer Who Started The Journey

In the late 2019, I started noticing posts in the social media by a young Sambal farmer urging me to run for Senator.

Gabriel Hebron Francisco, 35, launched a social media campaign pushing for my Senatorial candidacy.

From a few hundred followers, the page Emmanuel MANNY PIÑOL for SENATOR now has 58,000 members.

I met Gabriel, a young farming advocate based in Olongapo City, for the first time today because I invited him to join me in filing my Certificate of Candidacy for Senator.

If by God’s Grace we will triumph in this quest and succeed in addressing the problems of our agriculture and fisheries stakeholders, this young man should be credited for starting the journey.
