Modern Agriculture! 220v Mini-Rice Mill Demo Set Aug. 11-12

A Mini-Rice Mill made in Thailand which could produce 150 kilos of brown or white rice in 1-hour using 220v DC will be featured in the Upland Ride Farming Workshop scheduled on Aug. 11 in Kidapawan City and Aug. 12 in Alamada, North Cotabato.
The Mini-Rice Mill could also be powered by a 6.5hp gasoline engine in remote areas without access to the power lines.
Distributed by Green Valley Machineries of Koronadal City, South Cotabato, the Mini-Rice Mill is recommended as part of the “Kalahating Ektarya Sa Bawat Pamilya” hunger-mitigation program through Upland Rice Farming.
Priced at P200,000, the Mini-Rice Mill completes the value chain for Upland Rice Farming and allows farming families to process their palay production for the family’s consumption.
Green Valley Machineries President Romeo Susrtiguer said several units of the Mini-Rice Mill are readily available for LGUs to be established in remote communities where Upland Rice Farming Program will be implemented.
I designed the KEBP to help rural families prepare for the impending Rice Crisis which is expected to result in soaring rice prices.
Under the program, Local Government Units are urged to provide Hybrid Rice Seeds of Tatag TH82 which could be planted through dry seeding in upland and un-irrigated areas.
The Workshop on Aug. 11 and 12 will be attended by LGU representatives and farmers where modern techniques in Upland Rice Farming will be shared by experts.
The Kidapawan City Workshop will start at 8 a.m. at the NDBC-DXND Auditorium while the Alamada Workshop will be held at at the Alamada Town Hall at the same time.
The Workshop is free to all comers and Hybrid Rice Seeds of Tatag TH82 and AMO Foliar Fertilizer packets will be raffled off.
