Artists and musicians supporting the Presidential candidacy of Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte bring their gig to the city of Kidapawan for a whole night performance on Dec. 16.
Led by the group of singers Jimmy Bondoc and Luke Mijares who popularised the song “Takbo,” and other bands led by Popong Landero and Allan Nawal, the MAD for Change concert will be held starting late afternoon of Wednesday.
It will cap a long day of activities which will start with a forum on Federalism in the morning and an organization meeting of the Friends of Rody Duterte (FoRD) in the afternoon.
Vice Presidential candidate and incumbent Senator Alan Peter Cayetano will join the Federalism forum, the FoRD organisational meeting and the MAD for Change concert.
Former North Cotabato 2nd district Congressman Jun Piñol, a PDP Laban candidate for vice mayor of Kidapawan, said that the Federalism Forum, the FoRD organisational meeting and the MAD for Change concert will mark the start of the Duterte-Cayetano movement in the province.
The former congressman said FoRD will be organised down to the barangay level to ensure maximum support for Duterte and Cayetano.
Former immigration commission and Pampanga congresswoman Andrea “Didi” Domingo, national chairman of FoRD, and San Pablo City businessman Rene Concordia, FoRD national coordinator, will join the organisational meeting.
It has not been confirmed if Presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte will be able to join his vice presidential running mate in the Kidapawan City sortie.
