My Young Farmers!

Today, Sunday, I brought my two grandchildren to a field in New Esperanza, Mlang, Cotabato where the Soybeans we planted were starting to sprout.
Duane, 8, and Kristoff, 3, are sons of my eldest daughter, Dr. Maria Krista, and her husband, Chito Solis.
While it was hot as it was about 10 a.m., the boys eagerly followed me to the middle of the field to check on the young Soybeans.
There, I gave them an on-field lesson on how seeds turn into plants.
I was so happy seeing the interest of the two boys to the lessons I shared with them.
With them, the family will be keeping the farming tradition.
They are the inheritors of my farming advocacy.
