Our advocacy to develop the Philippine Soybeans Industry is getting a lot of support from netizens who follow our agricultural advocacies.
This morning an Ilocano former OFW who has since moved to Arakan, North Cotabato came to the farm to deliver 1-kilo of Canadian Soybean seeds.
Joel Quiaoit said he wanted the seeds to be part of the trial planting that we are conducting.
The Canadian Soybean seeds are the third foreign-sourced planting materials in our trials now.
Earlier, we had seeds of two varieties from India followed by several varieties from the U.S.
The Indian Soybeans are now ready for the 3rd cycle covering at least 2 hectares while the U.S. seeds are also on the third propagation cycle.
With the support our advocacy is getting, we could expect to reduce our 99.9% dependence on imported Soybeans in the years to come.
Thank you to all those who support us with seeds and prayers.
We dedicate our all efforts to the next generation of Filipinos.
