Peace Equals Progress! Former Rebel Enclave Now Vast Sorghum Farms

As a Mindanaoan, I am firm in my belief that the greatest achievement of President Rodrigo Duterte was ending the conflict with Bangsamoro rebels in the South.
Today, thanks to the resolve of Pres. Duterte, peace reigns in former conflict areas and development is slowly changing the lives of residents of neglected communities.
The Sorghum Production Program of the Southseas Agri-Aqua Ventures, Inc., a small company which I and former Senator Ping Lacson formed, has penetrated former troubled areas.
To sustain this new found tranquility, what needs to be done now is for the private sector to play its role in introducing agricultural projects in these vast and fertile lands.
My presence in the former rebel areas, in spite of the fact that I was identified as Enemy No. 1 of the rebel groups, is proof that these areas are safe and secure.
With peace comes progress and with inclusive progress, we achieve true and lasting peace.
