At long last, ours will no longer be a lonely pained cry in the wilderness.
There is a booming voice coming from the seat of power who now says they should have listened to our cries long ago.
This is poetic justice and sweet vindication.

Thank you, very much, Mr. President.
You have given me a reason to hope and dream again.
