One of the biggest challenges in raising free-range chicken is the need to purge intestinal worms which could stunt their growth.
There are commercial dewormers but at almost P10 per capsule, you need a large sum of money to deworm 1,000 chicken.
There is, however, a very practical way of solving this.
Use young Betel Nuts, divide it into 4 parts and give this to the chicken orally.
Ang tawag dito locally ay Bunga at ginagamit ito ng mga matatanda sa “Nga-nga.”
In less than 10 minutes, all sorts of intestinal worms will be expelled from the chicken.
Repeat the deworming after 7 to 15 days so that the young worms which were just eggs during the first deworming will be expelled.
Do this every 4 to 6 months if you are raising chicken in the free-range.
Para makatipid, magtanim ka ng sarili mong Betel Nut o Bunga.
In three years, you will have an endless supply of natural and organic dewormers.
