Ramgo Red Dragon Onion!

Yesterday, I received the first 40 boxes of Ramgo’s Red Dragon Bulb Onion seeds.
We opted to use these seeds because of accounts from other Onion farmers that Red Dragon Onion seeds perform well under Mindanao conditions.
Bulb Onion seeds are expensive, costing about P35,000 per hectare.
This is obviously beyond the reach of many poor farmers.
This is the reason why my friend, German Panghulan of Batangas, who is initiating this project will provide participating farmers with seeds and farm inputs on credit payable upon harvest.
The most admirable aspect of this program is the Buy-Back Agreement where German’s company, Vetmate Farma Corp., assures farmers of a ready market with a fair price.
This program will surely change the lives of many farmers in my home province of Cotabato and perhaps later, the whole of Mindanao.
