The controversial ballot which contained the list of candidates in a Presidential Election in Colombia, South America which was retrieved from a PCOS machine used in Damalasak, Pikit in the 2010 elections was used in the petition filed before the Supreme Court seeking a stop to the use of the Smartmatic machine.
Citing the case in Pikit as one of the examples of the unreliability of the PCOS machines, the petitioners led by IT Experts are asking the High Court to stop the use of the PCOS in the 2016 elections.
During a Senate hearing on the PCOS shortly after I lost the 2010 elections, I confronted COMELEC Chairman Sixto Brillantes about the Colombia, South America ballot and he was not able to offer any explanation.
