Salamat, Karambola sa DWIZ!

Yesterday, I received a most heart-warming bit of information from my sister-in-law, Mae Leoncito-Piñol, who works with the Catholic Radio Network Notre Dame Broadcasting Network in Mindanao.

The information was contained in a video clip of a radio commentary program, Karambola sa DWIZ, hosted by veteran journalist Conrad Banal and Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles.

While they were discussing about the problems in Philippine Agriculture, Conrad, brother of PBA star Joel Banal, made a surprise endorsement of my bid for a seat in the Senate in the May 2022 elections.

Conrad said it was the first time in all of his over 40 years as a journalist that he was publicly endorsing a political candidate.

That actually floored me and I was overwhelmed with joy that a colleague in the profession truly appreciates my advocacies to build a strong nation by ensuring sufficient food for our people.

I assure you hindi kayo mapapahiya sa akin sapagkat alam ninyo ang aking totoong hangarin, ang aking work ethics and dedication as a public servant.

For a Senate bet who does not have the resources to wage a national media campaign, napakalaking tulong ng iyong endorsement.
