The Department of Agriculture (DA) will harvest today the Sorghum planted Nov. 18 last year in its first demonstration farm in the country.
Sorghum, an African grass which yields protein-rich grains ideal for animal feeds, is being reintroduced by the DA to farmers as part of its program to support livestock and poultry farmers by providing cheaper and readily avsilable feed materials.
Other DA Regional Offices have also started thrir Sorghum Demo Farms.
