Just how important is the Presidency of Rodrigo R. Duterte and the vice presidency of Alan Peter Cayetano to the people of Mindanao?
I will start answering this question in detail in a new medium which I am using to further increase people’s awareness of Duterte and Cayetano.
Yesterday, Jan. 11, I launched a radio program, Mindanao, Panahon Na!, which is aired initially in seven radio stations all over Central Mindanao.
The one-hour program which I am hosting personally is aired over three stations of the Catholic Network Notre Dame Broadcasting Corporation – DXND in Kidapawan City, DXMS in Cotabato City and DXOM in Koronadal City.
It is also being aired simulcast by four other radio stations – Manny Pacquiao’s DXBB Radyo Alerto in Gen. Santos City, WOW FM of Rollyboy Sacdalan in Midsayap, North Cotabato and Radyo Natin and NICE FM in Kidapawan City.
When funds coming from friends who also support Duterte and Cayetano will be sufficient, I will expand the coverage of the radio broadcast to other regions in Mindanao.
I am also exploring the prospect of engaging the services of Duterte-Cayetano supporters in the BASULTA area who could speak Tausug, Sama or Yakan so that the message would be effectively conveyed.
While I could speak at least five dialects, I have not really learned how to speak the dialect of the tribes in the Western Mindanao area.
So if you are within the coverage area of the first seven stations I enumerated above, tune in to “Mindanao, Panahon Na!” which airs 11 a.m. to 12 noon Monday and Tuesday and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday.
