Soldiers To Farmers!

This morning, three former high-ranking military officers who had retired from the service came to the farm to learn more about farming.
Former Scout Ranger and Intel Officer Gen. Tony Cacayuran was joined by two other officers, retired Army Engineer Col. Marlito Bautista and retired Scout Ranger Col. David Hermoso, in a learning session on Jackfruit farming and others.
All three of them said they were inspired by my advocacies in Food Security and decided to join the battle against hunger and poverty.
Welcome to the new battlefield where we could win the war by simply planting and propagating crops to ensure food for our people.
