This video showing the second growth of Sorghum in our Demo Farm in Pigcawaran, Alamada, Cotabato was first posted on Dec. 29.
I am sharing this again to emphasize the vast potentials of Sorghum in boosting agricultural productivity in the country.
Not only is it a source of grains for food and animal feeds, it also is an ideal source of silage for Cattle, Sheep and Goats.
One hectare of Sorghum could produce silage enough to feed 100 small ruminants or 10 heads of Cattle in one year.
Imagine what 1-million hectares of Sorghum could do for the country’s Food Security Program.
