Browsing through my Facebook posts many years ago, I saw this article which I wrote in April of 2015 about the trees which I planted 15 years earlier at the base camp of Mt. Apo.
It was my 14th climb of the country’s tallest mountain and it was my gift to my young daughter, Josa Bernadette, on her graduation from the college of medicine.
She was on her third climb while it was the first for my young son, Imman, who was 12 at the time.
To mark the climb, I asked JB, Josa Bernadette’s nickname, and Imman to plant Tinikaran tree seedlings beside the ones that I planted 15 years earlier.
I realized that it has been almost three years since my last climb and early today, I made a resolution: I have to make my 15th Climb of Mount Apo this April.
You like to climb with me?
Better stretch your legs this early.
