I woke up at 2:30 a.m. today, earlier than usual, and immediately checked my Facebook pages and e-mails which I routinely do to start the day.
One item which caught my attention was a video of a Dr. Cindy Jacobs of the 700 Club which was posted on Youtube where she talked about the Philippines and the “Principality of Corruption” which has gripped the country.
She also talked about two scenarios which could possibly befall on the Philippines should the Filipinos make a wrong choice in the 2016 elections.
“Either you are gonna go into greatness or I see that’s there’s going to be troubled times,” Jacobs said.
Listening to Jacobs, who was introduced as a “Prophet, Generals International,” I felt goose pimples all over my body.
Jacobs “prophesied” that the Philippines will go through a national transformation and that it will be one of the greatest countries on earth.
Was it mere coincidence that the camp of Mayor Rody Duterte, who is being asked by his supporters to run for President, says that a Duterte Presidency promises a National Transformation promoted by the hashtag #TunayNaPagbabago?
I am not a fan of religious programs on TV but listening to Dr. Jacobs, I could not help but ask myself: “Was she talking about the Duterte Presidency?”
Known for being incorruptible, Duterte, through sheer political will and righteous leadership, transformed Davao City from a killing fields of Communist assassins into one of the World’s 10 Safest Cities.
