After about 30 minutes of walk into the thick forests of Mount Apo starting from the Site H Trail to the Base Camp at Lake Maag, climbers would pass by a beautiful small twin waterfalls which have been largely ignored.
In fact, when I asked the Manobo porters what the name of the waterfalls is, nobody had the answer.
I have seen these waterfalls many times before in the several climbs I made passing through this trail and while I admired the scenery, I never really made the effort to even ask what the name was.
Last Holy Thursday, however, I decided to stay a little longer to appreciate the beauty of the twin waterfalls and took a short video and still shots.
Unfortunately, I could not upload the video clip but I am sharing two frames of the still photos taken by Peter Paul Villorente.
Beautiful but unnamed.
Perhaps, it would be great if we helped in naming these waterfalls.
What name do you think best fits the beauty of these waterfalls?
Submit your suggestions and I will endorse the best ones to the Parks Area Management Board (PAMB) of the Mount Apo Natural Park.
A beauty like these waterfalls should not be left unnamed.
