With Ilocano Experts! Garlic Farming Training Starts Today In Makilala

Here is good news for Mindanao farmers who would like to learn Garlic and Onion farming.
Fifteen experienced Garlic and Onion farmers from Ilocos Norte will start today an actual demonstration on Garlic farming in San Nicolas, San Vicente, Makilala, Cotabato.
The training is free and the demonstration farm is located along the Makilala-Mlang highway.
The farm owned by retired police officer Pat Piñol is in the former Firestone Rubber Processing facility.
The Garlic and Onion Project is initiated by Vetmate Farma Corp., a company owned by my friend, German Panghulan.
Farmers who would like to join the actual training are requested to bring their own food.
Those coming from nearby provinces could stay in Col. Pat’s Farm provided they bring their own beddings.
The actual Garlic planting starts right after the land preparation today.
