CAVITENOS CASTIGATE REMULLA
FOR SUPPORTING VP JOJO BINAY
By Manny Pinol
Barely a week after it was announced that incumbent Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla had accepted the political job as spokesperson of Vice President Jejomar Binay, Cavitenos have flooded his facebook page with anti-Binay reactions.
In his facebook page followed by 254,000 netizens, Remulla has his hands full defending his decision to join the Binay group with many Cavitenos declaring that they will definitely support the Governor but will never go with Vice President Binay who is eyeing the presidency.
Grace Ace Perez Vibar said: “We respect you gov but we cannot promise to vote binay. Binay is more corrupt than gma sana d ka ngkamali sa desisyon nio na sumapi ky binay. C binay walang utang na loob sa mga aquino kung d dahil ky Cory Aquino marating ba nia kung nasan man cya ngaun not whole Cavite vote binay as a president.”
To this the Governor said: “Jonvic Remulla Hi Grace, Thank you for your honestly. Like what I said, the accusations are politically motivated; the elections is near and the survey/ numbers are in his favor, all eyes are on him. I have my reasons why I’m doing this. You can check his track record too. But, I respect your opinion.”
Still another supporter of Gov. Remulla was more brutal in his comment.
Bong McKatta Tulala said: “Sir please, ayaw naming madamay ka sa kabulukan ni binay. Ang pagbagsak n’ya ay pagbulusok mo din. Nasa huli ang pagsisisi.”
Jonvic Remulla replied: “Thank you for your concern, Bong. But like what I said, I have my reasons on my I’m doing this.”
Two more followers said:
John Paul Bragais Paragas gov. jonvic=yes…binay= a BIG NO.
Poti Manalo Naku po wag dyan!yan ang makakasira sayo.
The adverse reactions of Cavitenos to Gov. Remulla’s decision to work as spokesperson of Vice President Binay have reportedly shaken the popular governor.
“Grabe ang batikos sa kanya,” said a Cavite political insider.
This early, Gov. Remulla is starting to discover that the task of projecting a positive image for the embattled presidential wannabe is more difficult in his home province of Cavite than it is elsewhere in the country.
