Our young company, Southseas Agri-Aqua Ventures Inc., headed by our Chairman Ping Lacson, has Sorghum seeds ready for planting for farmers who are interested.
Sadly, due to our limited resources and due to the location of our end-user, our operations are now just confined to the Southern and Northern Mindanao Area.
Our Partnership Farming Program offers seeds payable upon harvest and technical support.
Upon harvest, we buy back the production at a guaranteed price.
This is the best we can offer to our farmers because ours is just a nascient venture.
Hopefully, the Department of Agriculture will support the National Sorghum Development Program which I proposed so that farmers in other parts of the country could benefit from this sturdy and hardy crop.
