A survey conducted yesterday by ABS-CBN ANC Talkback showed Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte leading in voter’s preference for the position of President and Vice President.
An image of the results shown on TV by ANC in Tina Monzon-Palma’s Talkback program showed that the colorful Davao City Mayor who has rejected calls for him to run for President received the most number of votes from respondents to the question: “If elections were held today, who would be your pick for President?”
Duterte gained 52 followed by Miriam Defensor Santiago with 44, Mar Roxas 28, Bongbong Marcos 11, Jejomar Binay 8 and Grace Poe 7.
Posing the same question for the position of Vice President, Mayor Duterte again led the pack with 44, followed by Grace Poe with 27 and Miriam Defensor Santiago with 24.
The results of the ANC Talkback survey which could be considered by established survey groups as unscientific reflect the same trend earlier seen in a Facebook EPoll conducted by this page.
The Facebook EPoll conducted by MannyPinol.com last week showed Mayor Duterte well ahead of the other probable presidential candidates with 66% followed by Miriam Defensor Santiago with 15% and Bongbong Marcos.
Vice President Jejomar Binay was at the tailend of the survey.
