On Jan. 30, I made my 16th climb of Mt. Apo, the country’s tallest mountain at 10,311 feet.
It was my first time though to pass through the Kapatagan, Digos City trail having made all of my previous climbs via the Magpet or Kidapawan Trail.
Prior to this, my last climb was during the Holy Week of 2018 when I was Secretary of Agriculture.
Nakababa na ako kanina after almost three days of trekking from Kapatagan to the Peak down to Maag Base Camp and back to Kidapawan City today through the EDC Site G.
Starting tomorrow, I will post videos of the climb, including the shocking discoveries that we made on the encroachments inside the Natural Park, produced by the small documentation team which climbed with me.
